Common Meal Prep's Questions

204 Meal Prep offers fast, easy, and convenient meal options. 204 Meal Prep is there to make sure that you’ve got the food you need to help you get through busy days without sacrificing the quality food you love. 204 Meal Prep offers a weekly rotational menu of monthly seasonal features and fan favorites and a menu that is customizable to your meal needs and preferences. With so many options to choose from, you are able to keep your meals both to your taste and interest.

  • Our office location is 664 King Edward Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3H 0P2. Our office hours are 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Sunday.
  • Our pick-up times are DAILY (orders take 24 hours to process)
  • If you couldn’t pick it up on those days, don’t worry, you can always pick your order up the next day between 10 am to 4 pm. 
  • Our delivery days are Sunday and Monday between 10 am to 2 pm.

Sometimes the delivery might get delayed due to various reasons like bad weather but our customers always get a text to the phone number mentioned in the account to track their deliveries.

 We would need at least one day to prepare your order. For example: if you order on Tuesday, your order will be ready on Wednesday during operational hours.

Our customers can absolutely place an order without opting for a subscription plan. All you have to do is, look for One Time Purchase or search for the item that you are interested in, in the search bar, add the item to the cart and proceed to checkout.

Our customers can choose either the delivery or pick up option while placing an order.

Delivery within the city limits is $8.00

Outside the city limits like La Salle, Headingley, and so on is $14.00.

We do offer interprovincial delivery please contact us via email for rates

Yes, we do have an in-store pickup option and our pick-up days and hours are daily from 10 am to 4 pm.

If you are placing an order online, first you would need to create an account with us, save all the important information like shipping address, billing address, and credit card information. 

Note: Our system accepts only credit cards for online orders. 

You can pay through PayPal as well and yes, we do accept American Express as well. If you would like to pay with your debit card or e-transfer us, we can definitely accommodate you with that. Please give us a call on 204-488-9927 for such requests and we’d be happy to assist you.

We accept all major credit cards and debit in store.

All our meals come fully cooked. All you have to do is heat them up in a microwave or an oven and consume. 

You can order as many meals as you want and all your meals get delivered at the same time. For example: If a customer orders 25 meals, all the meals get prepared and delivered or ready for pick up on the pick up/delivery date you selected. 

We seal our meals with modified atmosphere packaging. MAP is a technology that has been developed to ensure that packaged food products stay fresh and attractive for as long as possible, which keeps your meals fridge safe for up to 14 days!  If you don’t get through your meals in that time, our meals freeze beautifully.

Yes, we do deliver to apartment buildings. If there’s a buzz code to the building, please mention it in the shipping address section in your account and in the comments section before the checkout as well. 

You can specify any other comments relevant to delivery (For example: Deliver the food to the back door or ring the doorbell or hide the package under the blue chair).

With our macros information mentioned on the website, it is easy for our customers to keep a track of their carbs, fat, fiber and protein. Just click on the meal that you are interested in and scroll down for macros.  

All our food is made in bulk. So, unfortunately we would not be able to accommodate any special requests or orders without dairy in it. However, we have a few dairy-free options that you can check out. 

For gluten-free options, you can check out our keto section in the menu. Click on the item that you are interested in and scroll down to check if they are dairy-free and gluten-free. Our menu keeps changing and we add new menu items every now and then. So please email us on [email protected] to find out the meals you are interested in and we can check the information for you.

We do not provide a cooler bag option and our customers would need to arrange their own cooler bags.

All our customers’ orders get delivered between 10 am to 2 pm. They will also receive a text message to the contact number provided in their account to track their orders. Our food is not insured and if you are not home to receive the order and if the package goes missing, we are not responsible for it. We wouldn’t be able to accommodate any refunds once the package is delivered.  

 If you are planning to pay for a subscription for someone, you can create an account under your name, put your billing and credit card information and enter the recipient’s shipping address. That way, you are paying for their subscription but the food gets delivered to their place as you would enter the recipient’s shipping address. You can pause/activate/cancel the subscription at least 48 hours before the order cut-off day

Our coupon discount is visible at the checkout page. If it didn’t, then please give us a call at 204-488-9927. There is one way you can check if the coupon is applied to your order. Once you enter the coupon code, check the price for the meal in your cart and compare it with the regular price. That way you can figure out if the coupon has applied for your order.

All our gift cards are online (e-gift cards) and are non-refundable. 

Note: The First20 coupon would not be applied for gift card purchases. 

  • Please make sure to enter the recipient’s name and email address for them to receive the e-gift card.
  • Please ask them to check their  junk/spam folder as a few emails end up in those folders. 
  • If you don’t want your recipient to know about the gift card and keep it as a surprise, you can enter your email address in the recipient’s box and forward the gift card information to them.

We use low sodium in our meals and only honey but not sugar in honey-related meals. We have a regular menu and do not accommodate any special diets at the moment. You can always check our nutritional information for meals and order accordingly. 

You will get a $10 dollar coupon to your account when your referral makes their first $50 purchase or more. Your referral will get a $10 coupon sent to their email when you refer them (valid for their first purchase only).

Our meals come fully cooked. All you have to do is reheat the food and eat.  Our containers are microwave and oven safe.  They are not reusable but they can be recycled.  We will take your used containers and give you points on your account for them.  We will make sure they don’t end up in a land fill. 

You can give containers to our drivers when they come to deliver your food. Please make sure to write your name and number of returned containers on the box that you are returning or email us at [email protected] or text us at 204-488-9927 with your name and number of returned containers and we can add points to your account. 

Our customers have the option to change their meals in their subscriptions. Please make sure to make any changes to your account at least 48 hours before the order cut-off time. All you have to do is, log into your account, click on the subscriptions tab and you would be able to view the number of subscriptions and subscription meals you opted for. Click on the drop down list on the meal that you would like to change and our menu pops up, just select the item you want and it will be saved.

Note: There is no save button once you change the subscription item. So, please make sure to refresh the page or log out and log in to see if those changes are reflected in your account. If they didn’t don’t worry, please call us on 204-488-9927 and we can definitely help you.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Subscription Orders

At 204 Meal Prep, we appreciate your commitment to our subscription meal prep service. To provide you with the best possible experience, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy for subscription orders:

Cancellation Deadline:

  1. To cancel a subscription order and receive a refund, you must notify us before the weekly order cutoff time, which is currently set at 2:00 PM every Friday.
  2. If you miss the weekly order cutoff time, your order for the upcoming week will be processed as scheduled, and a refund will not be issued.

How to Cancel Your Subscription Order: To cancel your subscription order, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer support team by phone at 204-488-9927 or via email at [email protected]
  • Provide your subscription details, including your order number and the specific week you wish to cancel.
  • Make sure to request the cancellation before the Friday cutoff time.

Refunds:

  1. If you cancel your subscription order before the weekly cutoff time, you will be eligible for a refund of the order amount.
  2. Refunds for canceled orders will be processed according to the original payment method.
  3. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Missed Cancellation Deadline:

  1. If you miss the Friday 2:00 PM cutoff time for the upcoming week’s order, your subscription order will be processed, and the associated charges will apply.
  2. We do not issue refunds for subscription orders that are not canceled before the cutoff time.

Exceptions:

  1. In exceptional cases, such as extenuating circumstances or technical issues on our end, we may consider refunding a missed cancellation request. Please contact our customer support team to discuss your situation.

Cancellation Deadline for Regular Orders:

  1. To cancel a regular order and receive a refund, you must notify us at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.
  2. If you cancel within the 12-hour window or fail to cancel before the deadline, your order will be processed as scheduled, and a refund will not be issued.

How to Cancel Your Regular Order: To cancel a regular order, please follow these steps:
